Chevrolet is perhaps the most famous of all General Motors’ automobile models and in fact, the term Chevy which is a shortened form of Chevrolet is known all around the world as symbolic of class, and also of GM itself.

There are more than twenty different models of the Chevrolet and the home market in America too is filled with many versions including sub-compacts and even commercial trucks that can be used for not very heavy duty usage.

The Chevrolet Silverado is the second best selling automobile model in this particular segment and only Ford’s F-series outsells it, though the Impala is ranked number three as far as hot selling domestic cars are concerned.

For those of you who would like to learn about its history, the Chevy is the creation of Elizabeth Kilgore as well as William C. Durant and the design of this car owes much to a person known as Louis Chevrolet who was a racing co-driver.
